James is a Knowledge Exchange Fellow with the N8 AgriFood programme, based in The York Management School at the University of York. His primary research interests are in biogeochemical cycling in soils and plants, and on the impacts of climate change and land management on the emission of greenhouse gases.
Passionate about engaging in challenge-led research and increasing the impact of his research, James is working to improve sustainability in the agri-food industry through collaborations with academic researchers from diverse disciplines and with partners from across the farming and food industries.
